Another great photograph of Pakistani girls at a local cricket match. According to the source, this was taken at a Lahore stadium. Notice the effervescent fervor on the faces of these zealous females. The city of Lahore is renowned for its “shugli” people, and that includes the girls of the region. Shugli actually means fun-loving in the Urdu/Punjabis vernacular of West Punjab.

Interestingly, this word isn’t used by the Punjabis across the eastern border, writes Ashmit from Ludhiana.
