One reader was aroused from his sleep as he heard a Pakistani girl call in on a popular Dubai based television talk show. Phrases like “talking crap” and others lingered in his head as got up to see who the caller was. Needless to say, she was a Pakistani girl.

Adnan wrote in to say that Pakistani girls have really nice accents. Markedly different from Indian girls who can speak english well, a well read Pakistani girl has an accent that is unique and extremely attractive.

However, certain Pakistani girls who can’t really speak English well do not have the refinement or the particular accent that we’re talking about here. For example, girls from Lahore (teh likes of whom you see on the popular “stage shows”) or even actresses like Meera cannot speak English well and hence do not have that accent. Instead, they have a primitive, almost ludicrous accent that is often made fun of in public on both sides of the border.

The attractive Pakistani female accent is usually found in girls educated from schools such as City School, Beaconhouse or certain Convent institutions.  You won’t find them saying “only” after every sentence like Indian girls do.
