Spring is here

by admin

Pakistanis around the nation are breathing a sigh of relief after the unusually cold winter that saw snow as down south as Rawalpindi. Pakistani homes lack central heating, an amenity often taken for granted in developed countries. Consequently, harsh weather can take an unusually steep toll on the destitute populace.

Pakistani girls usually have it the worst, as they are confined to their homes, huddled up in the cold evenings. Fashion also takes a back burner as the weather forces people to dress up in unsightly layers of wool. All this is set to change with the arrival of spring. Shalwar kameezes of lawn(a local sheer fabric) and cotton billowing in the wind can make for an unusually flamboyant display.

Spring sees warm weather in the subcontinent while the rest of the world is often reeling with overdrawn cold. Pakistani girls definitely have it good.
